Memorial Bricks and Plaques PDF Print E-mail
Many of the bricks in the “patio” area are engraved with names, and some with dates and other personalized information. Church members and friends are welcome to create a lasting memorial to a loved one by ordering a brick with words of their choosing. Current fee is $200. (This fee can be adjusted if necessary.)

The Scatter Garden is where members can scatter the cremains (ashes) of loved ones. The plaque on the wall contains the names of those whose ashes rest in our garden.

Forms for the Scatter Garden and memorial bricks are in the Work Room adjacent to the church office.

Worship_center_from_loft_facility_pageNestled in the heart of Clintonville, the church offers an open and modern facility which is a popular site not only for ceremonies and functions for church members, but for many community activities as well.

We make the facilities of the church available to the members and friends of our congregation and the people in our community to engage in common worship, further the mission and goals of the church, and support the aspirations of our community.

Contact the church office to schedule an event to ensure space is available, resources are scheduled, required forms are completed.

Our Gardens PDF Print E-mail

scatter_garden_optThe Memorial Garden is our evolving and living tribute to life and to those who have died. The garden will continue to thrive, commemorating those who have influenced the life of the church. The wall surrounding the garden is in memory of our members who died of HIV-related diseases. The Japanese Garden requests the viewer's time-time to look, to reflect, to imagine, and to listen. "Each plant, stone, area, and space has meaning. It is a symbolic representation of all the wildness of nature, all elements balanced in the total effect of quietude and repose." [from Marie Sinsabaugh's "The Japanese Garden"]
